Delivering strong, long term performance
Aware Super is an industry fund focused on strong, long-term performance and maximising the retirement savings of over 1.1 million Australians.
From day one they have been driven by one simple idea: to build a better future for all Australians.
Aware Super is driven by the vision that all Australians will look forward to a retirement spent in comfort and dignity.
They believe this can be achieved by engaging their members to make educated decisions about their super. They’re entirely dedicated to their needs, their goals and their futures.
Aware Super is one of Australia’s largest industry funds providing superannuation, advice and retirement solutions to those who teach, nurse, care, respond and help others in our communities. At a most fundamental level, their strategy and motivation has always centred on delivering the best possible outcomes for members.

Putting people before profits since 1992

Aware Super was established in 1992 to provide for the superannuation and retirement needs of NSW public sector employees and their families.
In 2006, they opened their doors to everyone, providing competitive-fee, low-maintenance super for all Australians.
In 2011, Aware Super merged with Health Super to create one of Australia’s largest super funds. They currently manage a combined asset pool of $125 billion on behalf of their 1.1 million members and clients.
Operating on a bigger scale allows them to offer security and benefits through competitive fees, value-for-money insurance rates, and financial advice.
So while Aware Super has changed in size, they’ve stayed true to their philosophy of putting members first.
Achieve your career goals and work with industry top talent

Aware Super is passionate about providing opportunities and experiences that help their people develop and grow in their careers.
They’re proud to offer their people a truly collaborative workplace that responds to rapid change, without losing sight of what they stand for: their members. And they strive to provide employee benefits that truly make their workplace ‘a great place to work’.
In 2020, Aware Super received the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation in recognition of their inclusive culture and genuine commitment to achieving gender equality in their workplace.
